If you've been wanting to see new Pokémon in theaters, the company announced a brand new animated film, Pokémon: Wild Card. The trailer showed a Pokémon TCG player with a Mimikyu. What's that about? The next Pokémon World Championships will take place in Singapore, August 13-15, 2027. Pokémon Champions will debut Z Mega Evolutions on September 9. We saw the preview of Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd and Pichu, a stop-motion series by Aardman (the folks behind Wallace and Gromit), coming to Disney Plus in 2027. Dual-type Pokémon are coming to the Pokémon TCG Pocket app in October. Four new playable characters are coming to Pokémon UNITE: Morpeko, Toxitricity, Jolteon, and Flareon. For all the Pokémon GO fans: Mega-Evolved Pokémon can be used for battle in all level of the GO Battle League, with special third Charge Attacks. The trading card game will get a new ex* series, featuring Mega Lucario Z with Mega attack rare cards like Mega Darkrai ex* and Mega Greninja ex*.
