Dolly was the brightest bulb in the drawer. In every way a person can, she shined. Her affect on us all transcended even her brilliant songs and amazing voice. Heaven is a happier place today and if you hear any thunder where you are, it’s probably just her making God laugh. Lisa, Lily and I are sending love and prayers to her family and all those closest to her who will carry the heaviest grief. For those of us who were lucky enough to be in her orbit even briefly, we thank God for giving us Dolly for 80 glorious years of joy.
