OK, soooo I think this might actually be my favorite video I’ve ever done. 😭 And I am SO excited to make a BTS for this one because there is so much that you didn’t get to see. I genuinely think this transformation had one of the biggest impacts on anyone I’ve helped because this was Taylor’s entire living space. She told me since she had moved into that trailer, she had NEVER sat at that table. She does her make up in her car. She just makes a B line from the outside to her bed and that’s it. She really didn’t like being in that space, it was depressing and incredibly overwhelming for her to look at the mess. Taylor is a single working mom, she also helps take care of her family’s kids and pets, and she’s been dealing with ALOT of medical issues. She is 100% exhausted and tapped out. She moved into this trailer 3 years ago, and she told me she’s basically just been living like this ever since. By the end of the day, she’s so tired that she just goes straight to bed. And the biggest thing I noticed when I was working with her was how bad she really WANTED to do this 🥺 She was so ready to get rid of things. She knew exactly what she wanted to keep. She knew exactly what she didn’t need anymore. She wanted to do this so bad. shes just been so freaking tired 🥺💔 During our lunch break, Taylor and I basically had like a mini therapy session, and she broke down crying and was like, “I swear to God, I’m not lazy. I do everything for everyone. I’m just tired. I do everything for everybody else, and I never have time for me.”😭😭😭 She’s been doing SO MUCH for so long, she just needed someone to come in and help her get back to zero. And that’s what I wanted this to be for her. A clean slate 🥺❤️ I also really wanted the finished space to feel like HER. Taylor has this beautiful goth aesthetic and I knew that was important to her, so I tried my best to keep that throughout the entire transformation and buy her decorations that actually matched her style. I try really hard to personalize the things I buy for each of my procrastinators because I don’t just want their spaces to be clean. I want them to actually be excited to live in them. And she has been!!! 😭 The books you see me putting up had been sitting under the piles of clothes and trash for forever and she had wanted to display them for so long. Now she finally gets to have them out!! AND She’s been decorating ever since we finished, and she even put a projector up in her bedroom!! 🎉🎥 This was probably the biggest project I’ve taken on to date and I cannot explain how grateful I am that Taylor trusted me enough to let me come into her home and help her. Seeing how excited she is about her space now makes me so, so happy words cannot even describe. She deserved to have a space that felt like hers 🥹❤️ Also, here is everything I bought and how much it cost: COST BREAKDOWN: 33 ft / 100 LED Globe String Lights: $11.69 Gothic Skull Makeup Brush Holder: $11.99 Stackable Wire Closet Organizer: $39.99 Foldable Storage Cubes (Black/Clear): $35.99 Black Queen RV Sheets: $27.99 Large Black Comforter: $39.99 Makeup Cosmetic Drawstring Bag: $29.95 Vanity Mirror: $26.99 Cube Storage Organizer (for laundry): $43.99 Shoe Rack: $24.99 Galaxy & Star Pillowcases: $19.98 Subtotal: $313.54 Tax: $27.90 Total: $341.44 Plus ~$20 for roses from Costco that I completely forgot to include in the total in the video 😂 Actual total including roses: ~$361.44 #procrastination #cleaning #decluttering #organization #adhd
