Have you ever pollinated a water lily? I hadn't, until this. I got to join world renowned water lily expert Kathy Cahill to cross pollinate two giant Amazonian species. She brought the expertise, I brought the curiosity. Victoria cruziana was our female parent, and Victoria amazonica provided the pollen.
