The Shocking Case Of Siegfried & Roy ❤️🩹 It was 2003 in Las Vegas.. For almost 40 years, magicians Siegfried & Roy had been travelling around performing their ‘animal based show’ The pair originally met back in the 50s working on a cruise ship. And they decided what better way to make a living than perform with tigers in las vegas. In 1990 they got their own show at the Mirage Casino.. and although it was a huge hit, people we warning them.. like these are TIGERS you’re performing with.. they’re wild animals. And on Roy’s 59th birthday, on the 3rd October, things came to a head. The pair performed with this 7 year old tiger called Mantacore, and during a live show, the tiger became agitated. Suddenly the tiger snapped and bit Roy’s sleeve, then LUNGED at Roy and started sinking his teeth into his NECK.. and DRAGGED him off stage As you can imagine he was seriously injured. Its actually a miracle he even SURVIVED He was partially paralysed.. but even after this attack the duo insisted that Mantacore was actually protecting him?! Probably goes without saying the show was shut down, and trainer Chris Lawrence who helped on the show announced he had PTSD.
