Nobody warns you about making it as an artist 👇🏻 Skill isn’t everything, infact it is maybe 30% of it. The rest is invoices, pitching, and chasing people who don’t reply. You don’t just get to be an artist.. you become a whole business in one body & it’s important you master it all. 🔒 The heavier part? is what it does to your head. There’s no manager telling you you’re fine, so the work becomes the scoreboard, and you’re the only one to hold yourself accountable. A quiet month stops feeling like a quiet month and can start feeling like proof of failure, despite it being normal. 😟 Is it worth it? Absolutely. The most important thing you can do is go in prepared, working a job you love in a creative field is rewarding.. but it’s still work. ✅ #freelancer
