This isn't about bad doctors or bad injectors. Most providers genuinely want good outcomes. But incentive structures can influence behavior in every industry—including aesthetic medicine. One question I now ask whenever I go to a provider is: are you compensated on commission? Because I believe we the patients deserve to understand the incentives behind recommendations.
