Monday marked the end of my year long USGA Mid Am journey. It started better than I could have imagined, but it definitely didn’t end the way I had hoped. Four weeks ago, I suffered a Grade 2 calf strain. My PT and doctor did everything they could to get me back in time, and we got close. My swing felt good, but the biggest unknown was how my leg would hold up walking 18 holes under tournament pressure. On my third drive Monday, I tweaked it again. From there, it only got worse. Obviously, that’s not how I wanted this chapter to end, but when I look back at the last year, I’m incredibly grateful. I set a goal that honestly scared me. I put it out there publicly, let everyone watch the process, the good rounds, the bad rounds, the progress, the setbacks, all of it. And I grew more as a golfer and as a competitor than I ever expected. Thank you to everyone who supported me, followed along, reached out, played rounds with me, practiced with me, and believed in this journey. This chapter is over, but I’m nowhere close to done. I’ve got some crazy goals, some unreal experiences, and a lot more golf ahead. Excited to have you all along for what’s next. Big things coming. ⛳️
