What would I get rid of in comedy? Nadia Casey has a pretty strong answer. Jokes with nothing behind them. For Nadia, comedy should have a point of view. An opinion. Something you're actually trying to say. Being edgy just for the sake of being edgy isn't enough. If you're going to stand up in front of an audience and ask them to listen, you might as well have something to say.
