31 years working in cemeteries, and today I saw something I have never seen before: a chair chained to a grave. Think about how sad that is. Someone comes to visit their loved one, maybe they have bad knees, a sore back, or they’re elderly. They leave a chair there so they can sit beside the grave, make du’a, reflect and spend a little time with someone they miss. Yet people are taking the chairs. My brothers and sisters, please have some respect. If you borrow someone’s chair, put it back. Don’t take chairs, flowers, ornaments or belongings from other people’s graves. A cemetery should be a place of dignity, respect and reflection. Families are already carrying enough grief without coming back and finding things stolen from their loved one’s grave. After 31 years, seeing a chair having to be chained to a grave says something very sad about where we are. Please be honest, even when nobody is watching. Even at the cemetery, people deserve respect. #themuslimundertaker #tiktok #cemetery #honesty #fypシ
