A new eye in space! 🔭 Another space telescope has launched – and this one is named after one of NASA's most inspiring scientists: Nancy Grace Roman. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is heading towards Lagrange Point 2, where it will join other major observatories, including JWST. From there, Roman will investigate some of the universe's biggest mysteries, including dark energy, exoplanets, and potentially even primordial black holes. And it's doing all of this with just two instruments: a huge 300.8-megapixel camera capable of capturing wide views of the cosmos, and a coronagraph designed to help directly image planets orbiting other stars.
