Persistence and consistency mattered more than talent. 2018: Training for the biggest challenge I’d ever attempted. 2019: Became the first person to hike the entire 4,000-mile length of the Yangtze River across China. 352 days. 2019: Invited onto The Joe Rogan Experience. 2020: Walking the Yangtze launched on National Geographic. 2022: Secured a multimillion-dollar TV series, The Great Wall with Ash Dykes. 2023: Planning another world first. 2024: Became part of the first team to travel source to sea of the Coppename River in Suriname. 2025: Uncharted Amazon with Ash Dykes launched on Discovery Channel. 2025: Secured an international TV series following the Yellow River by land, air and water across China. 2026: Launching the biggest independent project of my life… If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: Your future won’t be built by one big moment. It will be built by thousands of ordinary days when you choose to keep going, even when nobody is watching. Keep showing up. Your timeline doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
