When the plan falls apart… you adjust. 🤍 The last few weeks have been a reminder that no matter how disciplined, motivated, or committed you are… life will still happen. For 10+ weeks, I was locked in. Training consistently, following my nutrition, doing my cardio, hitting my steps and watching my body change. And then suddenly, life started pulling me in a million different directions. I’m preparing for one of the biggest moves of my life, juggling work, responsibilities, unexpected things happening behind the scenes… and somewhere in between all of that, my fitness journey had to take a backseat. I haven’t been able to train the way I was. My meals haven’t been as structured. My routine feels completely different right now.And at first, that bothered me. But I’m realizing that a plan falling apart doesn’t mean your progress did too. Your fitness journey isn’t supposed to exist in a perfect little bubble where nothing ever goes wrong. There will be vacations. Moves. Busy seasons. Family responsibilities. Stress. Unexpected life changes. Days where you have an hour to train and days where you have nothing to give at all. The goal isn’t to live perfectly. The goal is to learn how to keep choosing yourself through every version of life. Right now, choosing myself looks a little different. Instead of forcing myself to perform at the level I was a few weeks ago, I’m meeting myself where I am. I’ll rebuild my routine, but I’m not starting over, and neither are you. 🤍
