The CCTV Birdie counters this obsolescence through "adorabilization." By adopting miniaturized ornithomorphism, the surveillance tool is diverted from its vertical function to become a playful, migratory specimen. The technical build features a dual-tone grey PLA frame and articulated arms, complemented by flexible TPU wiring and talons. Its thermo-assembled ball joint offers adjustable friction via a discreet screw hidden beneath the hood. The unit’s identity is established by feeding the QR code directly into its body, much like digital grain. Once consumed and embedded within the material mass, the marking becomes virtually unalterable and inseparable from the specimen. In its collector configuration, the print is delivered with a "perch-base" crafted from the upcycling of vandalized IP camera domes.
